Eric graduated from the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy and is a Registered Massage Therapist with the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia. Prior to his studies in Massage Therapy, Eric obtained a diploma in Kinesiology from Langara College and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UBCO. Eric competed in elite levels of softball, baseball, and badminton. His athletic experience has taught him the importance of ongoing maintenance, rehabilitation, and optimization of one’s own body.
Eric believes massage has therapeutic and relaxation effects that benefit everyone whether you are a weekend warrior, elite athlete, or part of the general population. Eric’s approach to massage therapy includes a thorough interview and assessment in order to establish a combination of patient and therapist goals. Eric utilizes a mixture of techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue work, joint mobilization, neuromuscular techniques, myofascial release, and trigger point release. He truly values the one-on-one experience of massage therapy because he is able to whole-heartedly focus on providing patient-centred care. Outside of massage therapy, Eric can be found on the golf course. He recently picked up this sport because he enjoys the steep learning, the never-ending challenges of each golf shot, and the sceneries at each and every golf course.
